Itinerary

Day 1: Arrive Kathmandu

Arrive at Kathmandu airport and meet our office executive who will warmly welcome you to Nepal. Transfer to your hotel where you can unwind and acclimate to the sights and sounds of Kathmandu. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 2: Kathmandu

After a hearty breakfast at your hotel, embark on a cultural journey through Kathmandu. AM: Begin with a visit to Pashupatinath temple, a significant Hindu temple complex situated on the banks of the sacred Bagmati River. Observe devotees performing rituals amidst the serene surroundings. PM: Explore Boudhanath Stupa, one of the largest stupas in the world and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Marvel at its massive mandala and the peaceful ambiance created by prayer flags fluttering in the breeze. Later, venture into Bhaktapur City, known for its well-preserved medieval architecture, ancient squares, and traditional pottery. Wander through its narrow alleys lined with temples and artisan workshops. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 3: Kathmandu

Enjoy a leisurely breakfast before diving deeper into Kathmandu’s cultural treasures. AM: Visit Patan Durbar Square, a hub of Newari art and architecture. Admire the intricate wood carvings, stone sculptures, and palaces that reflect the city’s rich heritage. Continue to Swayambhunath Stupa, also known as the Monkey Temple, perched atop a hill offering panoramic views of Kathmandu Valley. Explore its bustling complex filled with shrines, prayer wheels, and friendly monkeys. PM: Spend the afternoon at leisure, perfect for exploring the vibrant markets and shops of Thamel, where you can find everything from local handicrafts to trekking gear. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 4: Kathmandu - Pokhara (flight or drive 200kms/ 5hrs approx)

After breakfast, depart for Pokhara, a scenic journey that offers breathtaking views of the countryside and terraced hillsides. PM: Upon arrival, check into your hotel and relax amidst the tranquil surroundings of Pokhara Valley. Later, enjoy a serene one-hour boat ride on Phewa Lake, surrounded by the stunning backdrop of the Annapurna and Machhapuchhre (Fishtail) mountains. The evening is free for leisurely strolls along Lakeside Pokhara, where you can enjoy lakeside cafes and soak in the peaceful ambiance. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 5: Pokhara

Rise early for a memorable excursion to Sarangkot, a hilltop village renowned for its spectacular sunrise views over the Annapurna Himalayas. Whether you opt to hike up or drive most of the way, the panoramic vistas of snow-capped peaks at dawn are truly breathtaking. Return to the hotel for breakfast before embarking on a comprehensive sightseeing tour of Pokhara city. PM: Visit Davis Falls, a unique waterfall that flows into an underground cavern, creating a mesmerizing spectacle. Explore Gupteshwor Cave, adorned with stalactites and stalagmites, and learn about Tibetan culture at the Tibetan Refugee Camp. The day concludes with leisure time to relax or explore more of Pokhara's charming lakeside attractions. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 6: Pokhara

Enjoy a leisurely breakfast at your hotel before embarking on a scenic hike to the Peace Stupa (Shanti Stupa), nestled atop a hill overlooking Pokhara Valley and Fewa Lake. This serene monument, built after World War II by Buddhist monks, offers panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and valleys. Spend the rest of the day at leisure, exploring Lakeside Pokhara's bustling marketplaces, relaxing by the lake, or indulging in optional activities such as paragliding or visiting nearby caves. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 7: Pokhara - Kathmandu (flight or drive 200kms/ 5hrs approx) - Departure

After breakfast, bid farewell to Pokhara and return to Kathmandu, either by a scenic flight or a picturesque drive through the Nepalese countryside. Upon arrival in Kathmandu, our team will assist with your transfer to the international airport for your onward journey, marking the end of your unforgettable Nepalese adventure filled with cultural immersion, scenic beauty, and spiritual discoveries.
