Itinerary

Day 1: Arrive Kathmandu

Arrive at Kathmandu airport, where you will be warmly greeted by our office executive. Transfer to your hotel and check-in. Rest and relax after your journey. Evening free for leisure. Consider exploring nearby markets or enjoying local cuisine. Overnight at hotel in Kathmandu.

Day 2: Kathmandu

Breakfast at the hotel. AM: Sightseeing tour of Kathmandu City, starting with Kathmandu Durbar Square. Explore ancient palaces, temples like Hanuman Dhoka, and intricately carved wooden buildings. Visit Swayambhunath Stupa (Monkey Temple) for its serene atmosphere and panoramic views of Kathmandu Valley. PM: Explore the vibrant streets of Thamel, known for its bustling markets and diverse cultural experiences. Visit Patan City, known for its well-preserved Durbar Square, Krishna Mandir, and traditional Newari architecture. Discover the Tibetan Handicraft Center for insights into Tibetan arts and crafts. Overnight at hotel in Kathmandu.

Day 3: Kathmandu – Pokhra (200kms/ 5-6hrs)

After breakfast, drive to Pokhara, a scenic city nestled in the lap of the Himalayas. En route, visit Manakamana Temple via a scenic cable car ride, offering breathtaking views of the Himalayan ranges. Continue to Pokhara and check in at the hotel. Evening free for leisure. Explore Lakeside area or enjoy views of Phewa Lake. Overnight at hotel in Pokhara.

Day 4: Pokhara

Early morning drive to Sarangkot for a stunning sunrise view over the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges. Return to Pokhara and visit Bindhyabasini Temple, dedicated to Goddess Durga. Explore Devi's Fall (Patale Chhango), a fascinating waterfall where the Pardi Khola river disappears underground. Visit Gupteshwor Cave, known for its stalactites and stalagmites, and enjoy the spiritual ambiance. Optional: Enjoy boating on Phewa Lake and visit Barahi Temple situated on an island. Overnight at hotel in Pokhara.

Day 5: Pokhara – Chitwan (160kms/ 4-5hrs approx)

After breakfast, drive to Chitwan National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Arrive and check in at the lodge/resort. PM: Enjoy a guided nature walk in the jungle surroundings to spot wildlife and bird species. Evening cultural program featuring Tharu dance, showcasing local traditions and music. Overnight at lodge in Chitwan.

Day 6: Chitwan

Early morning jungle safari on elephant back or by jeep, offering close encounters with rhinos, deer, and various bird species. Visit the elephant breeding center to learn about conservation efforts and interact with elephants. Afternoon canoe ride on the Rapti River for bird watching and crocodile spotting. Optional: Participate in a village tour to experience Tharu culture and lifestyle. Overnight at lodge in Chitwan.

Day 7: Chitwan – Kathmandu (160kms/ 4hrs)

After breakfast, drive back to Kathmandu. Visit Pashupatinath Temple, a significant Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Shiva, with its impressive architecture and spiritual ambiance. Explore Bodhnath Stupa, one of the largest stupas in the world, surrounded by Tibetan monasteries and shops offering religious artifacts. Evening free for shopping or personal activities in Thamel. Overnight at hotel in Kathmandu.

Day 8: Kathmandu - Bhaktapur - Nagarkot (32kms/ 1hrs apprx)

Breakfast at the hotel. Drive to Bhaktapur Durbar Square, known as the "City of Devotees," for its ancient temples, pagodas, and intricate wood carvings. Continue to Nagarkot, a hill station offering panoramic views of the Himalayas, including Mount Everest on clear days. Optional: Hike to Nagarkot View Tower for stunning sunrise or sunset views over the Himalayan range. Overnight at resort in Nagarkot.

Day 9: Nagarkot - Kathmandu - Departure

Early morning, witness sunrise over the Himalayas from Nagarkot. Breakfast at the hotel. Free time until departure for your onward flight from Kathmandu International Airport.
