Veerabhadra Temple Lepakshi: Explore the magnificent 16th-century temple renowned for its Vijayanagara architecture. Marvel at the intricate sculptures depicting gods, goddesses, dancers, and musicians. The temple's walls, columns, and ceiling are adorned with hundreds of paintings portraying stories from the Mahabharata, Ramayana, and Puranas. Notable among them is a colossal fresco of Veerabhadra, the fiery god created by Shiva, spanning 24 feet by 14 feet on the ceiling. At the temple's entrance stands a colossal Nandi (bull), carved from a single block of stone, said to be one of the largest in the world.

Drive back towards Bangalore with a stop en route at Nandi Hills, about 60 kilometers from Bangalore.

Tipu Sultan’s Fort: Visit this historical fort perched atop Nandi Hills, once the summer retreat of Tipu Sultan, the legendary ruler of Mysore. Nandi Hills: Explore the ancient temple complex nestled amidst the hills.
