Day 1: Arrival Colombo

Meet your tour guide upon arrival and transfer to your hotel. Later, commence a city tour of Colombo: Drive through the Fort and Pettah commercial area, bustling with markets and colonial architecture. Explore tree-lined Cinnamon Gardens, known for its affluent residential homes and serene atmosphere. Day 2: Colombo – Anuradhapura (210kms)

Breakfast at the hotel. Drive to Anuradhapura, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Visit: Ruwanweliseya dagoba, 2nd century BC, a magnificent stupa surrounded by ancient monuments. Thuparama dagoba, 3rd century BC, known for its architectural grandeur and historical significance. Ruins of ancient royal palaces, offering a glimpse into the opulence of ancient Sri Lankan royalty. Day 3: Anuradhapura – Polonnaruwa – Sigiriya (160kms)

Breakfast at the hotel. Drive to Polonnaruwa, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Explore: Royal Palace ruins, offering insights into the medieval splendor of Sri Lankan kings. Gal Viharaya (Buddha statues), renowned for its impressive sculptures of the Buddha in various postures. Audience Hall, a testament to the administrative prowess of ancient Sri Lankan rulers. Day 4: Sigiriya – Dambulla – Matale – Kandy (92kms)

Breakfast at the hotel. Enroute to Kandy, visit: Dambulla Rock Temple, a UNESCO site with extensive cave paintings and Buddha statues. Spice garden in Matale, where you can learn about and sample Sri Lanka's famous spices. In Kandy, do a city tour: Temple of the Tooth Relic, one of the most sacred places of worship in Buddhism. Day 5: Kandy – Nuwara Eliya (75kms)

Breakfast at the hotel. Travel to Nuwara Eliya, Sri Lanka's picturesque hill resort. Enroute visit a tea plantation and factory: Learn about tea production from planting to processing. Taste some of the finest Ceylon tea. Visit Nuwara Eliya: Enjoy the cool climate and scenic beauty of this mountainous region. Explore the 18-hole golf course and other recreational activities. Day 6: Nuwara Eliya – Yala – Hambantota (200kms)

Day 7: Hambantota – Galle – Colombo (252kms)

Explore Galle: Visit Galle Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage site originally built by the Portuguese. Wander through the narrow streets lined with colonial-era buildings and charming boutiques. Transfer to Colombo. Overnight at hotel.

Day 8: Colombo - Departure
