Itinerary

Day 1: Arrive Leh

Arrival at Leh Kushok Bakula Rimpochee Airport and transfer to your hotel. Enjoy a leisurely breakfast at the hotel and acclimatize to the high altitude of Leh (approximately 3500 meters above sea level). Visit Shanti Stupa, a white-domed Buddhist stupa offering panoramic views of Leh and the surrounding mountains. Explore Leh Market, known for its vibrant atmosphere, Tibetan handicrafts, jewelry, and local spices.

Day 2: Leh

After breakfast, start your day with a visit to Shey Palace, located on a hillock. Explore the palace complex adorned with vibrant Tibetan Buddhist frescoes and a large statue of Shakyamuni Buddha. Proceed to Thiksey Monastery, resembling the Potala Palace in Lhasa. Discover its chapels, prayer halls, and the impressive Maitreya Buddha statue.
