Itinerary

Day 1: Arrive Delhi

Arrive at Delhi airport and transfer to hotel (check-in/out time 12pm). Rest time for personal activities. Overnight at hotel in Delhi.

Day 2: Delhi

Breakfast at hotel. Begin with a city tour of Old Delhi: Visit the majestic Red Fort, the residence of Mughal emperors. Explore Jama Masjid, one of the largest mosques in the world built by Shah Jahan. Enjoy a cycle rickshaw ride through the bustling streets of Chandni Chowk. Visit Khari Baoli Spice Market, known for its aromatic spices and vibrant atmosphere. Pay respects at Raj Gath, the memorial of Mahatma Gandhi. In New Delhi: Visit Humayun's Tomb, a UNESCO World Heritage site and a masterpiece of Mughal architecture. Explore Qutab Minar, a towering minaret built in 1193 AD. Visit Lotus Temple, renowned for its distinctive lotus-shaped architecture. Drive past Rashtrapati Bhavan (President's House), Parliament House, and India Gate. Overnight at hotel in Delhi.

Day 3: Delhi - Amritsar (Train No.12029 SWARNA SHTBDI, 0720/ 1345hr)

Breakfast at hotel. Transfer to the railway station for the train journey to Amritsar. Upon arrival in Amritsar, transfer to hotel. Evening excursion to Wagah Border to witness the ceremonial retreat ceremony. Experience the patriotic fervor and military spectacle at the border. Overnight at hotel in Amritsar.

Day 4: Amritsar - Dharamsala (210km)

Breakfast at hotel. Begin the city tour of Amritsar: Visit the iconic Golden Temple, the spiritual heart of Sikhism with its stunning golden dome. Day 6: Dharamsala - Dalhousie (120km)

Day 7: Dalhousie

Breakfast at hotel. City tour of Dalhousie: Visit St. Francis and St. John's churches, showcasing colonial-era architecture. Excursion to Khajjiar, known as the "Mini Switzerland of India," with its meadows and dense forests. Enjoy activities like golfing and horse riding in the picturesque landscapes of Khajjiar. Return to Dalhousie and explore the local markets. Overnight at hotel in Dalhousie.

Day 8: Dalhousie - Killar (Pangi Valley) (200kms)

Day 9: Killar (Pangi Valley)

Day 11: Kishtwar - Pahalgam (190km)

Day 14: Gulmarg - Srinagar (56km)

Day 15: Srinagar
