Day 1: Arrive Aurangabad

Arrival at Aurangabad airport, where you will be greeted by our representative. Transfer to your hotel and check-in. Begin your city tour with a visit to the Aurangabad Caves, carved out of soft basalt rock during the 6th and 7th centuries. Explore Bibi Ka Maqbara, a mausoleum built in 1660 by Mughal Emperor Aurangzeb in memory of his wife, Dilras Banu Begum. Day 2: Aurangabad - Ajanja - Aurangabad (210kms round) (B)

After an early breakfast, depart for Ajanta Caves, located about 107 km from Aurangabad. Ajanta Caves, a UNESCO World Heritage site, consist of 30 rock-cut caves dating from the 2nd century BCE to the 6th century CE. The caves are divided into Chaitya (prayer halls) and Vihara (monasteries).
