Itinerary

Day 1: Arrive Kathmandu

Upon arrival at Kathmandu airport, you will be warmly greeted and transferred to your hotel. In the afternoon, embark on an introductory tour of Kathmandu starting with Kathmandu Durbar Square. Wander through ancient alleys past Asan and Indrachowk markets, bustling with local life, until you reach Thamel. Explore Thamel's vibrant streets lined with shops selling handicrafts, trekking gear, and local cuisine. Overnight at hotel.

Day 2: Kathmandu UNESCO World Heritage site Tour

Begin your day with a visit to the sacred Pashupatinath temple, a significant Hindu pilgrimage site on the banks of the Bagmati River. Continue to Swayambhunath, known as the Monkey Temple, perched atop a hill overlooking Kathmandu. Marvel at its blend of Buddhist and Hindu iconography. Drive to Patan, the city of Arts, where you can enjoy lunch and explore local galleries and shops. En route back to Kathmandu, stop at Bodhnath, the largest stupa in Asia, surrounded by bustling monasteries and workshops. Overnight in Kathmandu.

Day 3: Fly to Pokhara and Trek Kimche to Ghandruk

After breakfast, board a short flight to Pokhara, Nepal's picturesque lake city nestled in the lap of the Annapurna range. Transfer to Kimche and commence your trek to Ghandruk village (1990m). The trek offers glimpses of subtropical landscapes and local culture. Arrive in Ghandruk, a traditional Gurung village with stunning views of Annapurna and Machhapuchhre. Spend the evening exploring the village. Overnight in a comfortable lodge with attached bathrooms.

Day 4: Trek to Tadapani

Start your day with a leisurely exploration of Ghandruk village, soaking in its cultural charm and mountain vistas. Trek through lush rhododendron and magnolia forests to Tadapani (2700m). The trail offers spectacular views of the surrounding peaks and valleys. Accommodation at a lodge with basic facilities; enjoy the serene ambiance of the Himalayan wilderness.

Day 5: Trek Tadapani to Ghorepani

Today's trek takes you through varied terrain, ascending and descending amidst panoramic views of the Annapurna range. Arrive in Ghorepani (2750m) in the afternoon, known for its vibrant rhododendron forests and as a gateway to Poon Hill. Optional hike to Poon Hill for stunning sunset views over the Himalayas, a perfect end to the day's trekking adventure.

Day 6: Poon Hill & Trek to Ulleri – Hile (Trek End) & drive to Pokhara

Rise early to hike up Poon Hill for a breathtaking sunrise panorama of Dhaulagiri and Annapurna ranges. Descend to Ulleri (1960m), followed by a scenic drive to Pokhara. Enjoy the picturesque landscapes and rural villages along the way. Upon arrival in Pokhara, check-in to your hotel and unwind after the trekking journey.

Day 7: Full day in Pokhara

Spend a relaxing day exploring Pokhara, known for its serene lakes and stunning mountain views. Optional activities include boating on Phewa Lake, visiting Devi's Falls and Gupteshwor Cave, or simply strolling along the lakeside enjoying the tranquil ambiance.

Day 8: In Chitwan National Park

Depart Pokhara and drive through the southern foothills to Chitwan National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Check-in to your resort in the Terai plains and embark on an afternoon village tour or ox-cart ride. Enjoy a slide presentation on wildlife and conservation efforts followed by a cultural show. Overnight at resort.

Day 9: In Chitwan National Park

Spend a full day exploring Chitwan National Park with activities such as jungle safaris by elephant or jeep, canoe trips along the Rapti River, and nature walks to observe birdlife and wildlife. Visit the elephant breeding center and Gharial conservation project to learn about local conservation efforts.

Day 10: Fly Chitwan to Kathmandu

After breakfast, transfer to Bharatpur airport for your flight back to Kathmandu. Enjoy free time in Kathmandu to relax or explore more of the city's cultural sites and markets.

Day 11: Departure

Breakfast at the hotel followed by transfer to Kathmandu airport for your onward flight, marking the end of your memorable Nepal adventure.
